In 2012, when Fackeltanz OLD was seven years old, he placed in the Burg Pokal Final under Dorothee Schneider - the meeting place of Germany's best young dressage horses. The Reserve Champion of the Oldenburg licensing and Bundeschampionat participant  has meanwhile won tests in the international small tour. Fackeltanz OLD was admitted to the Oldenburg Sport Sponsorship Program.

In 2011, a colt from Fackeltanz' first crop was licensed in Oldenburg and awarded a premium. A daughter named Fontainebleau, bred by Gestüt Vorwerk, competed in the Brillantring with the year's best broodmares at the 2012 Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Show.

His sire Florencio I was Vice Bundeschampion, World Champion of young dressage horses twice and has meanwhile won tests in the international small tour. In 2004 he was awarded the Oldenburg main premium in the lot of stallions with emphasis on dressage. His dam St.Pr.St. Fackese was the 1996 Champion Mare of the Oldenburg Elite Broodmare Show in Rastede. The dam’s sire Feinbrand was Reserve Champion Stallion  and main premium winner, placed in advanced (S) level dressage and sired ten licensed sons as well as numerous sport horses, among which is Florestan, the junior dressage team European Champion, ridden by Kathleen Keller.The granddam St.Pr.St. Falarina is the dam of two medium (M) level dressage horses, Porthos (by Pascha) and Feingold (by Feinbrand). Valuable performance bloodlines are found in the third and fourth generation with the Thoroughbred stallion Thymian xx and Chronist . The traditional Oldenburg mare line of Fackila is also the origin of the licensed stallions Shepard Hit (by. Sandro Hit) and Dr. Bon Jovi (by Dr. Doolittle) as well as many other sport horses that are successful in advanced level classes.
